Data Scientist

About the role
We need a data scientist who thinks in business outcomes, not just model metrics. You'll be the measurement layer across every engagement — building the ROI models that justify builds, the evals that prove systems work, and the dashboards that track impact after launch.
What you'll do
- Build ROI models and workflow analyses that anchor every engagement to a measurable business outcome
- Design and run evals to test AI system performance before and after deployment
- Translate client data (SQL databases, spreadsheets, APIs) into clean foundations for AI pipelines
- Create reporting dashboards that track KPIs post-launch
- Work with engineering to tune models and improve system performance over time
What we're looking for
- 3+ years working with real-world business data — you know messy data and how to clean it
- Strong SQL, Python (pandas, scikit-learn), and data visualization skills
- Experience building business cases and ROI models, not just ML experiments
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical mindset — you measure what matters and ignore what doesn't
Nice to have
- Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks
- Background in operations research or process optimization
- Consulting experience or client-facing roles
